We have created DIY Christmas trees. We used cupcakes paper, ribbon, and stickers. You need to fold the cupcake paper twice and then glue the ribbon. Next, you have to stick to another cupcake paper. When you have your Christmas trees ready, it is time for the math play. Atena rolled the dice. Then she put as many stickers on the Christmas tree as she had on the dice.

Math Sensory Tubes
What are math sensory tubes about?
We used sensory tubes and cones. The primary purpose of the activity was addition.
How can you encourage a child to math activities?
It must be a creative way to add or subtract. So how our activity looked like? Atena rolled the dice. Then she put as many cones to the sensory tube as she had on the dice. Moreover, she wrote down the number. She repeated this movement to have the second number, and in the end, she counted and wrote down the result. To have the activity more enjoyable, we prepared the cones one day before. We collected the cones in the forest. At home, we painted and glittered them. They will be perfect for the Christmas tree!

Air Wrap Snowman
What is air wrap snowman about?
Do you have a bubble wrap from the packages you received by post? Great! You can use it to paint a fantastic snowman. You have to put the bubble wrap on the jar using a rubber band. Then you paint it with white paint. When you touch the paper, you will get small white circles. How can you do the snowman’s buttons? Of course, using pom-poms, the best ones are red! For nose and hat, you can use felt. Let’s see how Atena did it!

Sensory Pot Of Balls
What is sensory pot of balls about?
CHRISTMAS SENSORY BIN. We have prepared a Christmas sensory bin. Sensory plays are great for cognitive development. Moreover, it is a perfect activity for toddlers to practice color identification. There are only two colors, so it was not so difficult for her to identify which is red and which one green. The activity was to find Christmas decorations that were hidden in small balls, however, she was a little bit afraid as she did not know what is inside of the bin.

Christmas time gives a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your children. It can be a great way to improve fine motor skills when preparing christmas decorations and baking.
